I'm Emma – children's book author, artist, dabbler in many things and mum to two sweet angel humans, a dachshund and a golden retriever. We live in Queensland, in a cute little home filled with books, dance parties, plants, and way too many mugs.

I spend most of my days with my kids - making messes, memories, and magic. You’ll usually find us transforming old boxes into forts, doing the 3-marker challenge, playing Minecraft (I am not good at placing blocks, but i try), or off on some kind of adventure in nature... or I’m outside rescuing socks our golden retriever has proudly “retrieved” to the backyard.

By night, when everyone’s asleep, you’ll find me listening to music while writing, painting (almost always sausage dogs), hugging my pups, or dreaming of a garden library/paint studio surrounded by flowers.

I've loved books my entire life (and yes, I’m still proud of reading six Goosebumps books in one afternoon at the age of eight). Now, I write my own little stories that spark joy and imagination, and help foster a love of reading in my own kids and (hopefully) children everywhere.
